I  refer  to  your  request  for  information  dated  11  June  2023,  which  was  received  by  Greater 
Wellington Regional Council (Greater Wellington) on 11 June 2023. 
Greater Wellington considers it necessary to extend the timeframe to advise you of our decision on 
your request to 17 July 2023. 
This  decision  is  made  pursuant  to  section  14  of  the  Local  Government  Official  Information  and 
Meetings  Act  1987  on  the  basis  that  consultations  with  WREMO  that  are  necessary  to  make  a 
decision  on  your  request  are  such  that  a  proper  response  to  the  request  cannot  reasonably  be 
made within the original time limit. 
If you have any concerns with the decision referred to in this letter, you have the right to request 
an  investigation  and  review  by  the  Ombudsman  under  section  27(3)  of  the  Local  Government 
Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.
