1.  I refer to your official information request sent to the Department of Conservation (DOC) by 
email (via FYI) on 7 October 2023, for information regarding the board meeting minutes of 
several boards administered by DOC. 
2.  We received a partial transfer of your request on 12 October 2023, as it related to the Queen 
Elizabeth the Second National Trust board meeting minutes from 1 January 2021 to 1 October 
2023. 
3.  We have decided to grant your request in ful , but we have also decided to withhold information 
in multiple parts where the information is redacted under section 17 of the Official Information 
Act 1982. The applicable reasons for withholding information noted alongside the redactions 
throughout the board meeting minutes. 
4.  Please see the board minutes in the attached zip file. There are 22 documents containing board 
meeting minutes. 
5.  You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision.
