Official Information Act request relating to airfares for Special Envoy
Thank you for your Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act) request received on 2 March 2024.
You requested:
This is a request under the Official Information Act in reference to your response
OIA-2023/24-0439 dated 1 March 2024. Please provide the following:
For the $12,424.84 contributed towards airfares, please provide a breakdown by
class of ticket and details of where the flights were from / to, and whether this
covered travel only for the Special Envoy or whether it included others.
Please find a breakdown as requested in the table below for travel between 17 April 2023
(the date the Special Envoy started in her role) and 23 January 2024 (date of request
received for OIA-2023/24-0439 mentioned above).
These costs covered airfares for the Special Envoy only and were the only two flight
expenses covered by DPMC across the extensive list of meetings in various localities
throughout these months. The initial flight to Paris was managed by the Special Envoy.
Please note that the total cost below is $230 less than we provided in our previous response.
That is because since providing that response, DPMC was reimbursed for a cancelled flight.
