I refer to your information request dated 13 March 2024 made under the Official Information Act 1982 
(the Act). You have requested: 
 
“the grade distribution for students in ELM2 and ELM3 (MBChB II and III) for the final exam 
results 2023? This would include information on the number of passes, passes with 
distinctions, and those requiring special examinations.” 
 
Subject to the following comment, please see the below tables, which show the final grade 
distributions of students enrolled in ELM 2 and ELM 3 in 2023. 
 
•  The data is correct as at 4 April 2024. 
 
•  We note that students who withdrew from the programme are excluded from the data.

With respect to your request for “those requiring special examinations”, we note that 49 students sat 
a special examination for ELM 2 in 2023. 53 students sat a special examination for ELM 3 in 2023.
