Thank you for your request made under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA), received on 20 
April 2024. You requested the following: 
I want access to documents, both submissions and letters, that the department has 
received for changes that should be made to the Foreign investment fund tax regime (FIF). 
On 1 May 2024, you clarified the time-period for your request to the previous 6 months. 
Part of the information you requested is believed to be more closely related to the functions of 
the Minister of Revenue. Accordingly, under section 14(b)(ii) of the OIA, I am transferring part 
of your request to the Minister of Revenue.   
The Minister of Revenue has 20 working days from receipt of this transfer to make a decision on 
this part of your request. 
The remainder of your request has not been transferred, and we will respond by 29 May 2024.
