I  refer  to  your  Official  Information  Act  request  received  on  26  June  2020  in  which  you  specifically 
requested the following: 
 
Please  disclose  the  results  including  comments  made  by  those  surveyed  of  the  recent  "Anaesthetic 
Technician engagement" survey carried out in 2020 by Trudie Scott-Walker. 
Please find enclosed  the results of the survey as requested  (enclosure 1), due to the  commitment to 
anonymity made to survey participants at the outset, we are not able to release the individual comments.  
Please see the information below that was shared with the team which includes graphs (enclosure 1) and 
themes of the feedback. 
 
On Career Development: 
•  Limited opportunity for development once fully trained 
•  Not enough relief to regularly attend rep trainings  
 
On Team Member Engagement: 
•  Concern about team engagement  
•  Concern about management engagement with the team 
•  Concern that nursing are not supportive of the team 
 
On Professional Relationships: 
•  Concern about leadership, structure and management support 
•  Concern about bullying within the team 
•  Concern about speaking up 
 
On Work Environment: 
•  Concern about a negative workplace culture  
 
Anything Else:
