Dear Ministry of Health,

I request information on an internal review of the case for medicinal cannabis that has occurred. I do not know when it has happened though I suspect the second half of 2014, but as stated in News Articles ( http://www.nzherald.co.nz/politics/news/... )
Associate Health Minister Peter Dunne Briefed the CEO of the New Zealand Drug Foundation on the findings of this investigation in January 2015.

Could I please have an electronic copy of any summaries, presentations etc that were presented to the Minister of Health and or the Associate Ministers of Health on the issue of medicinal cannabis.

Could I also know if there was any criteria for scientific evidence such as studies to be included or excluded from consideration when reviewing this topic, and what the criteria was.

Could I also have a list of what evidence was included for consideration when investigating the issue.

This is in the public interest as the information supplied to the Associate Minister of Health seems counter to recent trends in the developed world, including Australia, and the New Zealand Drug Foundation has publicly queried whether the information compiled is considered current or is in fact obsolete due to recent rapid advancements in the field of Medical applications for Cannabinoids.
