REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 
 
I refer to your email request  received on the 18  May  2016  in which you 
requested – 
Could you please provide me with the complete debrief notes for the Wills 
search that happened in the Hawkes Bay. 
 
I have considered your request in accordance with the Official Information Act 
1982.  
 
I have consulted Senior Sergeant Luke Shadbolt, Hawkes Bay Police, Search 
& Rescue  about  your request  and he has provided me with a  copy of the 
debrief notes  which  I have attached.  Some information has been withheld 
pursuant to section 9(2)(a) Protect the privacy of other individuals.    
 
 
If you are not satisfied with my response to your request you have the right to 
complain to the Office of the Ombudsmen and seek an investigation and 
review of the Police decision.
