Request made under the Official Information Act 1982
Thank you for your email of 1 August 2018 requesting the following information under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act):
Can the NZTA please provide a list of the 6 Wel ington cycling projects that are supported by
simplified assessment SP11 for which the NZTA did not provide electronic copies of the SP11
information and the reason why this information was not provided?
Can the NZTA please also include any other projects in other regions supported by simplified
assessment SP11 for which the NZTA did not or wil not provide electronic copies of the SP11
information and the reason why this information was not (or wil not be) provided ?
Secondly, the latest set of information provided on cycleway projects has a number where the
SP11 information was provided in PDF format. I would highlight that the original request
includes the statement that:
"This information is created and provided as a spreadsheet base on the NZTA template. I
would prefer the information was provided in its original and complete format."
Below are the responses to the various components of your request.
1) Can the NZTA please provide a list of the 6 Wel ington cycling projects that are supported by

The six projects approved for implementation / construction in the Wel ington region that were
supported by the simplified assessment SP11 where electronic copies of the SP11 information were not
supplied and the reason why the information was not supplied are as follows:

The SP11 spreadsheet has been supplied in all those case where the spreadsheet was attached to the
application in TIO. In instances where a PDF has been supplied, an electronic spreadsheet was not
attached and the material has been extracted from an attached business case document.
