Timings in days for each recruitment stage for NZ Police

Anna made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Anna to read recent responses and update the status.

From: Anna

Dear New Zealand Police,

I am a resident of NZ. Would you please be able to supply the following information, if possible:

Average time from initial application date to date started police college for each of the last 3 years, ideally divided into each region of NZ as well as overall average for the country, if it would be possible to compare the overall national average time for male vs female recruits that would be very helpful (for each for the last 3 years)

Average time spent by recruits at each recruitment stage (e.g. vetting, initial phone call, medical etc) for each of the last 3 years

Thanks for your help,

Anna Lomonossoff

Dear Ministerial Services,

Thanks so much for your detailed and useful response. Can I just check that step 8 is meant to say 'SCOPE'?
