List of National Intelligence Centre briefings

Scott made this Official Information request to Chris Hipkins

The request was successful.

From: Scott

Dear Office of Chris Hipkins,

I would like to make a request for information relating to briefings and reports received by the Minister of Police on the topic of intelligence.

I would like to request a list of all briefings and reports received by the Minister of Police that were prepared, reviewed or approved by the Police Director of National Intelligence or Manager of the National Intelligence Centre since the beginning of 2018.

More specifically, a list of all briefings and reports received since the beginning of 2018 that were prepared, reviewed or approved by:

1) Travis Benson,
2) Trevor Dickinson-Mclachlan, or
3) Dan Wildy

I would like this list to include the title and date of the briefing or report.

Although my request covers a large time period, I assume your office will be able to locate the relevant documents without undue difficulty by doing an electronic search for these three names. If this isn’t correct, please let me know and I can consider revising my request.

Yours faithfully,

Scott

Kia ora,

On behalf of Hon Chris Hipkins, thank you for your email.  Please accept
this as acknowledgement that your email has been received by my office.

While the Minister considers all correspondence to be important, and all
messages are carefully read and considered, it is not always possible to
personally reply to all emails.

As such, the following guidelines apply:

o Invitations and meeting requests will be processed as soon as possible
and a staff member will be in contact with you in due course
o All media queries will be responded to by a staff member
o Requests for official information will be managed in accordance with
the provisions of the Official Information Act 1982, which may include
transfer to a more relevant Minister or agency
o If your email falls outside of the Minister’s portfolio
responsibilities, expresses a personal view, or is copied to multiple
Members of Parliament, then your opinion will be noted and your
correspondence may be transferred to another office, or there may be
no further response to you

Thank you for the taking the time to write.

Nga mihi,
