Decision information supporting CDF direction to DFSS Trustee to apply Reserve Account funds to cover the cost of NZDF centrally funded MIBP life insurance.

Dear New Zealand Defence Force,

I request copies of all information utilised to inform, advise, and execute the decision to partially fund NZDF MIBP insurance expenses from DFSS Reserve Accounts.

Any and all relevant information is requested, including but not limted to: Trustee Correspondence, Trustee Meeting Minutes, Advisory Trustee Meeting Minutes, Legal Advice Correspondence, NZDF Minutes, Letters, Notes, Memos, Briefings, Emails, Records of Discussion/Conversation, Benefit & Risk Analysis, Financial Forecasting Anlaysis, and any Employee/Member Official Correspondence on this subject.

I request all information to be provided in electronic format. Queries about this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the fyi.org.nz website.

With regards to s.12 of the OIA I am a NZ Citizen residing in NZ.

I refer to your Official Information Act request (OIA) of 3 October 2014,
in which you seek details about the NZDF’s MIBP insurance expenses. The
final due date for a response to your request has been extended by 10
working days under section 15A(1)(b) of the OIA:
 
‘Consultations necessary to make a decision on the request are such that a
proper response to the request cannot reasonably be made within the
original time limit’.
 
The new due date for a response to your request is now 17 November 2014.
 
Under section 28(3) of the OIA, you have the right to ask that an
Ombudsman review my decision to extend the due date for your request.
