The Ministry of Health has decided to extend the period of time available
to respond to your request under section 15A of the Official Information
Act 1982 (the Act) as the consultations necessary to make a decision on
the request are such that a proper response to the request cannot
reasonably be made within the original time limit. 

You can now expect a response to your request on, or before, 12 June
2023. 

You have the right, under section 28 of the Act, to ask the Ombudsman to
review my decision to extend the time available to respond to your
request.

Thank you for your request for official information received by Manatû
Hauora (the Ministry of Health) on 20 June 2023. You requested :

 

Could I please be provided for the 10 below projects funded under the
COVID-19 and National Immunisation Programme research projects the
progress reports submitted at three, six and nine month intervals - as
available. And the final report as available for any of them (in lieu of
a final report - dates expected it is to be submitted for each project).
The research projects are:
-Child vaccine hesitancy: Predictors of parents' COVID-19 vaccine uptake
for their children, impact on vaccine uptake of the national
immunisation schedule, and translational findings for equitable
immunisation outcomes among children in Aotearoa New Zealand
-COVID-19 Vaccine Evaluation (COVE) in Aotearoa New Zealand
-Does the increased attention to COVID-19 vaccine-related side
effects change reporting behaviour for a comparable adult vaccine?
-Examining vaccine effectiveness of two and three doses of Comirnaty
mRNA vaccine during the 2022 Omicron wave in Aotearoa
-Impact of COVID-19 on childhood vaccine uptake and ways forward
for equitable immunisation services
-Impact of the COVID-19 Delta-Omicron outbreak on the health
and psychosocial wellbeing of New Zealanders living in aged residential
care
-Impact of COVID-19 on Pacific peoples’ vaccination beliefs and
behaviours, including Pacific COVID-19 + Well Child immunisation rates
-The Burden of Long Covid in Aotearoa New Zealand: Establishing a
Registry
-The role of digital contact tracing to support improved pandemic
responses
-The role of vaccine mandates in New Zealand's COVID-19 response

Manatû Hauora has decided to extend the period of time available to
