As required under the Official Information Act 1982, Manatū Hauora will

1. Currently 2nd draft of proposed regulations is yet to go to legal for review after inital draft returned for more work.

2. Cabinet committees yet to be appointed and report to the committee concerned is in draft form .

3.medsafe claim they have not heard from new government .

Hi
You request asks for the recommendation for change presented to the government by medsafe for the medical cannabis scheme.
The documents that you want are
1. Any and all briefings to the incoming minister of health that pretain in any way to medicinal cannabis.
2.the current draft of new regulations
3.the application to treasury for exemption from regulatory impact analysis of proposed changes to medicinal cannabis regime.
4. Any and all briefings or recommendations provided to the minister of health and or cabinet pertaining to medical cannabis for the period may 20th 2023 untill october 1st 2023.
All these documents exist and are easy for the oia office at health to provide.
