Dear Info,

We disagree with your assessment that you "think" it is frivolous or vexatious.

We do not believe council is being transparent and acting in the best interest of our community. Council has failed us over the past 12 months, or 3-4 years if you include the secret to date. A public meeting was held on 31st August and the community was advised further consultation and a further public meeting would be held before any decisions were made; this did not happen. The community of Ohakune is thus on high alert and very cautious and worried, as councils actions to date, and the way we have been treated has been tarnished.

We have the right to know what is happening regarding Teitei Drive, as no clear communication has come from council as to its fate. Kāinga Ora staff looking at the site post engagement letter stating the project had been pulled; and post the 5th March commitment to purchase 15 lots, leaves plenty of concern that the cogs are still moving as we've seen from the public notification 180, to a non public notified consent.

If you do not believe this is of public interest, we are happy to post to our website and email members asking them to submit the questions; that are on all of our minds. The information should be available from sign in documents for H&S to council properties and from meeting agendas or notes / documents / e-mails.

Our questions stand as per the original request and from the original date of submission.
Any such delay will be considered Council continuing to work in secrecy by hindering information.

1./ Please advise of any meetings held yesterday 26th march with any regard to external parties.
2./ please advise if there have been any meetings or discussions or notes or documents with regards to Teitei since 5th march when kainga ora last communicated still being interested in prepurchasing 15 sites.

4./ please provide details or any staff or councilors or ceo or contractors that have attended the site since 28th Feb 2024.
