Official Information Request

 

Thank you for your enquiry received 19 September 2016. Your request has
been referred to the Legal Services department for consideration under the
provisions of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act
1987 (“the LGOIMA”). Pursuant to s 13(1) of the LGOIMA we shall respond to
your request “…as soon as reasonably practicable, and in no case later
than 20 working days after the day on which the request is received…”.

 

Your request

“Please provide me with any record of correspondence between the Council
and any part of the Talleys Group of Companies for the period of the last
two years.  Please also provide any details regarding unpaid or disputed
service charges and any permissions/permits granted to the Company
including any record of any breaches of these permissions.”

 

Our response

After consultation with key Council staff we cannot find any record of
correspondence, details regarding unpaid or disputed service charges,
permissions and permits in application or granted between the Far North
District Council and the Talleys Group of Companies. Therefore pursuant to
s 17(e) of the LGOIMA we must refuse your request as the information you
have requested does not exist.
