Passenger Numbers

Megan Pledger made this Official Information request to Wellington Regional Council

The request was refused by Wellington Regional Council.

From: Megan Pledger

Dear Wellington Regional Council,

Please, can I please have the passenger numbers on metlink buses at the point they tag-on, by half-hour time slots, for two periods.
The first period is Sunday the 1 July 2018 to Saturday the 14 July 2018.
The second period is Sunday the 15 July 2018 to Saturday the 28 July 2018.

In the second period, I would like the data two ways, 1) I would like a passenger count for all tag-ons, irrespective of if they are transferring passengers and 2) I would like a count for all passengers excluding passengers who are transfers.

Further, I would like that broken down by type of fare paid - snapper-adult, snapper-child, snapper-student, snapper-disability, cash and gold card (plus any other fare types not listed so far).

Finally, I would like that further broken down by route number.

I would appreciate the data supplied to me in an excel spreadsheet.

Thank you.

Yours faithfully,
Megan Pledger

You could also ask for the information to be provided in its raw format along with a copy of the data specification so that you or someone else could process it.
