Police manual on "Police filming and audio recording of operations and events"

Alex Harris made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police

The request was successful.

From: Alex Harris

Dear New Zealand Police,

Recently you released a chapter list of the police manual in response to an OIA request. I would like to request the following chapter:

* "Police filming and audio recording of operations and events"

I would prefer to receive an electronic response, in the form of email to this site. This should not be problematic; if you can put material on a CD, you can attach it to an email. Responding in a format other than that requested is contrary to the Ombudsman's practice guidelines (specifically, part 1B, p 7-8), and any attempt to respond by sending me hardcopy or "password accessed disk" (or worse, charge me for responding in a format I have said I do not want) will result in an immediate complaint to the Ombudsman.

Queries about this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the fyi.org.nz website.

With regards to s12 of the OIA, I am an NZ citizen and in NZ.

Yours faithfully,

Alex Harris
